Game 1 Recap
Greenville LWSB Green Wave fell 9-7 to Tri-Village on Saturday despite out-hitting them 10 to eight. Brubaker, Blumenstock, and Shaffer each collected two hits for Greenville LWSB Green Wave.

Tri-Village rallied for the victory despite trailing 5-1 in the second.

Tri-Village got on the board in the first inning after Baker grounded out, scoring one run.

Greenville LWSB Green Wave flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the second, scoring five runs on five hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a single by Shaffer on the sixth pitch of the at-bat that drove in two.

An error extended the Greenville LWSB Green Wave lead to 6-3 in the bottom of the third inning.

Tri-Village flipped the game on its head in the top of the sixth, scoring five runs on one hit to take the lead, 9-6. The biggest blow in the inning was a grand slam to center field by Mccarroll following a 7-pitch at-bat that drove in four.

Oswalt took the loss for Greenville LWSB Green Wave. The starting pitcher went five and two-thirds innings, surrendering eight runs (four earned) on seven hits, striking out eight and walking five. Poling began the game for Tri-Village. The starter allowed 10 hits and seven runs (one earned) over seven innings, striking out three and walking two.

Greenville LWSB Green Wave piled up 10 hits in the game. Shaffer drove the middle of the lineup, leading Greenville LWSB Green Wave with two runs batted in. The number three hitter went 2-for-4 on the day.

McCarroll drove the middle of the lineup, leading Tri-Village with five runs batted in. The first baseman went 1-for-4 on the day. Greer and Mead each collected two hits for Tri-Village. It came down to the wire on Saturday, as Greenville LWSB Green Wave grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 8-7, over Oak Hills. The game was tied at seven in the bottom of the seventh when an error scored one run.

Greenville LWSB Green Wave got on the board in the first inning after #23 induced Cromwell to hit into a fielder's choice, but one run scored.

Greenville LWSB Green Wave committed an error, which helped Oak Hills tie the game at one in the top of the second.

Oak Hills took the lead in the top of the third. #11 doubled, scoring one run, to give Oak Hills the advantage, 2-1.

Greenville LWSB Green Wave took the lead in the bottom of the third. Shaffer grounded out, scoring two runs, to give Greenville LWSB Green Wave the upper hand, 3-2.

Shaffer opened the game for Greenville LWSB Green Wave. The pitcher allowed two hits and three runs (one earned) over four innings, striking out two and walking one.

Shaffer provided pop in the middle of the lineup, and led Greenville LWSB Green Wave with three runs batted in. The 3-hole hitter went 2-for-4 on the day.
