Going back to last Thursday, we've had some significant successes!

**Thursday, 9/24**

**Boys Golf-Sectional Tournament**

The boys finished 3rd overall, qualifying for the District Tournament as a team. Hayden Null was low scorer for the tournament, setting a school record for a par 72 course, shooting 3-under 69. Brody Weaver was 3rd overall with a 1-under 71.

**Girls Tennis-MVL Tournament**

The MVL Tournament was held in Troy on 9/24. Riley Capasso placed 3rd in First Singles. Sienna Gilman finished 4th in Second Singles, Parker Francis finished 4th in Third Singles, Meadow Murphy and Callie Zwiesler finished 2nd in First Doubles, and Allie Leensvart and Bella Moore finished 3rd in Second Doubles. As a team, they finished 3rd overall.

**Sunday, 9/27**

**Cheerleading**

High School and Middle School Cheer competed in the Ansonia Cheer Competition. We had several placers and a champion.

Varsity Cheer- 1st Place
Middle School Cheer- 2nd Place
Alia Hunt- 1st Place High School Tumble Off
Connor Price- 2nd Place High School Tumble Off
Connor Price- 2nd Place High School Jump Off
Kinsley Labig- 3rd Place Middle School Jump Off
Coach Tiffany Labig- 1st Annual Ericka Kramer Spirit Award.

**Monday, 9/28**

**Boys Golf**

The boys competed in the MVL Championships at Locust Hills Golf Course. They won the tournament, shooting a team score of 313. One shot better than 2nd place Troy. Hayden Null finished 3rd, Brody Weaver finished T-4th, Braxton Moore and Hayden Burns finished T-6th, Harper Kerns finished T-12th, and Braylon Byers finished T-48th. The tournament win also clinched the MVL Season Championship!!!

**Girls Golf**

The girls competed in the MVL Championships at Locust Hills Golf Course. They won the tournament, shooting a team score of 381. Three shots better than 2nd place Butler.  Piper Jenkinson was tournament champion shooting 76 (11 shots better than 2nd place), Lyla Brinley also earned a medal finishing 3rd, Peyton Fourman finished T-17th, Kennedy Schoen finished T-27th, Anna Cox finished 31st and Ayla Weyant finished 33rd. The tournament win clinched the MVL Season Championship!!!

**Girls Tennis**

The girls competed in their Sectional Tournament at Troy. The girls had a great showing with Riley Capasso qualifying for Districts in Singles. Meadow Murphy and Callie Zwiesler qualified for Districts as a doubles team. This is the second year they have qualified for Districts. They will continue playing out the Sectional Tournament later this week to determine their seeding for Districts.
