Greenville Wrestlers placed 2nd out of 18 teams at the Dixie Invitational this past weekend. The Wave battled hard but fell short to Reading High School by 11 points. Leading the Wave with a pin in the 215 pound championship match was Anthony Gutierrez. Gutierrez placed first over Jayden Rutherford of Simon Kenton. Other individual placers were:
Cooper Price, 4th place at 106 pounds
Jack Suter, 2nd place at 113 pounds
Cohen Stebbins, 3rd place at 113 pounds
Henry Allread, 5th place at 120 pounds
James Smith, 5th place at 126 pounds
Bradley Bush, 4th place at 144 pounds
Layden Wion, 2nd place at 150 pounds
Tristan Bey-Russell, 4th place at 165 pounds
Gabe Rammel, 2nd place at 175 pounds
Anthony Gutierrez, 1st place at 215 pounds
