The Greenwave bowling teams traveled to Sidney for their final match of the regular season. The girls came out with a big win, but the boys lost despite bowing well. The girls jumped to an early lead of 67 pins after game 1 and almost doubled that lead after game 2. They lost the first baker by 2, but won the next baker by33. A great day for the girls!
The boys started off in great shape leading by 32 after game 1. The boys lost their shot in game 2 and Sidney found it beating them by 110 pins in game 2. Sidney won the first baker by 86, but the wave came back and won baker #2 by 55. The Boys bowled well but Sidney bowled better with one of their players shooting 242 & 277.
The Girls were led by Marissa Boney with a high game of 168 and a high series of 331. The boys were led by Scotty Lennartz with a high game of 210 and a high series of 377. The Bowlers will participate in the sectional tournament next Wednesday & Thursday. GO WAVE!!!
