The Greenville Bowling Teams traveled to Fairborn this afternoon for a bowling match. The LadyWave girls lost in another close match, but the boys brought home the win. The girls started off jumping to an early lead of 65 pins in game 1. The lanes got the better of them in game 2 and they dropped to a 25 pin deficit. In baker #1, they earned back 5 pins and baker #2, they earned back another 4 pins to lose by 16. A great effort by the Lady Wave, but coming up just shy.
The Varsity boys started off on fire tonight, shooting 1006 pins in the first game to take the lead by 84 pins. They opened up that lead to 126 pins after game 2. Fairborn came back with a vengeance and shot a 280 baker to pull within 25 pins after the first baker. The Greenwave boys weren't done fighting yet. They threw a 212 baker to finish the game with a 68 pin win.
