The Greenville Bowling teams hosted Vandalia Butler this afternoon at Woodcrest Lanes. The girls opened up a comfortable lead from the get-go and greatly increased that lead after game 2. The boys on the other hand, fought their way through a tough battle with the Aviators. The boys were ahead by 12 after game 1 and 15 after game 2. The 1st Baker left them down by 1 pin. The boys rallied in the 2nd baker putting 6 strikes in a row up on the board to finish with a 245 and win by 73 pins. The girls were led by Addy Arnett with a 178 high game and a 323 high series. The boys were led by Michel Thompson with a high game of 210, but Johnny Floyd and Roman Swisher just edged out Michel and both tied for high series with a 358. The Wave bowlers will participate in the Blackhawk tournament at Woodcrest Lanes on Saturday. GO WAVE!
