The Bowling teams hosted Fairborn on Wednesday at Woodcrest Lanes. The Boys earned a decisive win while the girls came up short in a very, very close match. The Varsity Girls were up and bowling well in the first two games, ahead of Fairborn by 36 going into the bakers. Fairborn closed the gap after the first baker to 7 pins. The girls struggled on the last baker game and lost by 17 pins. A nail biter for sure! The Varsity boys started out at +72 after their first game and stayed at +70 after their 2nd game. The boys turned up the heat in the bakers beating Fairborn each game by about 30 points each game for a decisive win at home.
Marissa Boney led the girls with a 180 high game and a 324 high series. Conner Leas led the boys with a 204 high game, but Johnny Floyd edged out Conner for the high series with a 371. The bowlers are looking forward to a well deserved rest for the Christmas season. GO WAVE!
