The Lady Wave golfers traveled to Echo Hills Golf Course in Piqua to play in the Sectional golf tournament. The top 4 teams advance to the district tournament at Pipestone October 7th. The Lady Wave finished 3rd with a 377. Leading the Lady Wave were led by Vera Cox with a 77, Sofia Chrisman had a 92, Payton Fourman had a 103 and Taylor Trissel had a 105. Also playing was Lyla Brinley with a 107.

The girls played the front 9 very well. The back 9 was a little tougher but they the mental toughness to overcome a few bad holes and qualify for district. The girls have worked hard this year, and it is great to see the hard work pay off at tournament time. We have some things to work on before district, but we have time to get them fixed. We are looking forward to going to district as a team.
