The Greenville Lady Wave Golf team hosted the Troy Lady Trojans on September 2nd at Turtle Creek Golf Course.
The Lady Wave won the match 206-229. Leading the Lady Wave were Vera Cox with a 42, Lyla Brinley with a 52, Sofia Chrisman with a 53 and Taylor Trissel with a 59. Also playing for the Lady Wave were Kennedy Schoen with a 64 and Reese Addington with a 68.
Playing for Troy were Malela Bitmo with a 53, McKinlee Gambrell with a 55, Liv Garrity with a 58, and Piper Jackson with a 63. Also playing were Danielle Duff with a 65 and Megan Sowers with a 68.
The girls played well even after having three days off for the holiday.
The Lady Wave is 6-2 overall and 4-1 in conference play.
